Sheldon Harnick (born April 30, 1924) is an American lyricist who is most known for his work with composer Jerry Bock on popular musicals such as Fiddler on the Roof and The Producers, among others. Harnick started his professional writing career as a lyricist and composer for humorous songs in musical revues. Tracy Owen, senior vp industrial relations for Paramount Pictures and Paramount Television Studios, died Oct. 1 in Los Angeles after suffering a stroke. She was 43.
